In response to tremendous growth, NWL Architects was commissioned to program and design the new 300,000-square-foot, worldwide corporate headquarters and distribution center for Stampin’ Up!. The campus consists of three major components, the Administrative Center, the Distribution Center, and the Atrium. The administrative home office spans 100,000 square feet and includes Class-A office space, conference rooms, a 100-person call center, a cafeteria, and a large display room where art and home décor projects using Stampin’ Up!’s products are beautifully showcased. In addition, an 11,000-square-foot atrium brings the beauty of the outdoors inside with trees, plants, and a stream. The 200,000-square-foot distribution center houses the company’s warehousing, fulfillment, shipping, and receiving capabilities. The campus is also designed for future expansion of 100,000 square feet, which will allow the company to grow as its business opportunities dictate. The building features a ground-coupled, geothermal heat pump mechanical system, raised access flooring throughout the office area, and historically reminiscent architecture to meet the owner‘s requirements.
