Located in Logan, Utah, Campbell Scientific's Building 4 is a 60,000-square-foot facility designed by NWL Architects to support the company's expanding operations. Completed in 2011 through a design-build partnership with Stettler Construction, the two-story, tilt-up concrete structure intelligently integrates ground-floor manufacturing with second-floor office space to create a streamlined workflow. A standout feature is the building's innovative energy system, which uses an on-site artesian well to provide geothermal heating and cooling. The design integrates a 70,000-gallon internal storage tank with the building's heat pump system, significantly reducing energy costs.
Building on the success of this project, NWL designed Campbell Scientific's new Building 5, opening in 2025.
