Though it would have been more financially feasible to move the manufacturing plant to Salt Lake City, where its home office is located, the Stampin’ Up! company decided to keep its manufacturing located in the small town of Kanab out of loyalty to its employees and the community. NWL Architects was commissioned in 2005 to design this new 80,000-square-foot, state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Kanab, where it houses roughly 70 employees and most of the company’s manufacturing. Stampin’ Up! is one of the nation’s leading manufacturers of decorative rubber stamps and accessories and, as a result of its loyalty to Kanab residents, the largest private employer in Kane County, Utah.
