The Clearfield Aquatic Center is a beautiful result of a master planning venture between Davis School District and Clearfield City with NWL at the helm of design. The community development project included a brand-new 242,406-square-foot aquatic center, a new North Davis Junior High school, and a 16-acre city park. The Clearfield Aquatic Center sits attached to North Davis Junior High, both designed in streamlined conjunction by NWL Architects. The aquatic center features an indoor water park, lap pool, hot tub, and outdoor pool, and includes indoor basketball courts, indoor running track, a cardio floor, weight room, and a multipurpose room for yoga and other fitness class offerings. The facility offers access to the adjoining Fisher Park’s four baseball diamonds, playground, basketball court, soccer field, walking/jogging path, skate park, two-story concession building with restroom facilities, and a pavilion designed by NWL. The bustling aquatic center provides a much-needed recreation facility for the community and was a proud moment in recreational design for NWL.
