The design and rebuild of Skyline High School and its sister school Cyprus High establishes an unprecedented standard of cutting-edge educational design for Granite School District. In collaboration with administrators and community members, NWL Architects and partner Fanning Howey have developed crucial guiding principles and imperatives for the schools’ design; principles that drive the educational ethos of Granite School District and that serve as benchmarks for future high schools. In Skyline’s streamlined design, NWL and Fanning Howey have translated design principles into a purpose-driven, engaging, budget-minded, and sustainable school design that serves both district and community needs. Cyprus and Skyline, respectively, represent the far western and the far eastern edges of the district boundaries, setting the tone for Granite School District with dynamic, progressive educational facilities that lead the pack. Construction of Skyline High School is estimated to wrap in fall 2026 – an exciting time for the Skyline Eagles to soar to new heights.
