The City of Manti dedicated several years to securing funding for a new outdoor pool facility. In 2005, they formalized their efforts by establishing a Recreation Board and engaging NWL Architects to masterplan their approach. Through careful assessment, it was determined that the community could support and maintain a modest outdoor seasonal aquatics facility. With diligent efforts, Manti City and the Recreation Board successfully secured sufficient loan amounts through the Community Impact Board to initiate development. The outdoor pool complex in Manti stands as an exemplary achievement, showcasing what can be accomplished on a tight budget within a small community. The developed pool integrates family-friendly features with lap lanes, catering to both casual users and structured exercise enthusiasts.
