The Ben Lomond High School Pool Renovation/Addition involved removing the existing 6-lane pool and installing a new 6-lane pool with a recreational slide and diving board. The project included replacing plumbing, mechanical, electrical, lighting, sound, and fire alarm systems, as well as installing a new fire sprinkler system. Locker rooms, restrooms, office areas, and the balcony were reconfigured to comply with ADA regulations and meet the evolving needs of the owner. A complete seismic upgrade and reroofing were undertaken. Additionally, a 2,800-square-foot addition was constructed to house a swimmers' staging area and a pool equipment room. Modifications to the existing site included creating ADA-accessible entrances and accommodating the new addition, which involved constructing a new parking area and patio.
