The Ben Lomond High School Pool Renovation and Addition was a much-welcomed upgrade for the proud Ben Lomond Scots, the Ogden School District, and the community at large. In the 15,000-square-foot project, the school’s existing 6-lane pool was removed and replaced with a new 6-lane pool with a recreational slide and diving board, while locker rooms, restrooms, the office area, and balcony were all reconfigured to meet ADA compliance standards and the changing needs of the district. Plumbing, mechanical, electrical, lighting, sound, and fire alarm systems were all removed and replaced, which required careful coordination among NWL teams and project consultants. The project also included a 2,800-square-foot addition of a swimmer’s staging area and pool equipment room. The existing site was modified to accommodate this addition and to include ADA-accessible entrances, a new parking area, and a patio.
