Designed to support North Elementary’s designation as one of Utah’s STEAM focused schools (science, technology, engineering, arts, and math education) this new elementary school features open ceiling areas that reveal to the students how the building is constructed and how infrastructure systems are routed through that structure, and window mullions designed to reflect patterns found in DNA sample radiography.  The classrooms and offices offer a flexible teaching environment. Cedar North Elementary School is a Platinum Utah STEM School, the highest designation that the Utah STEM Action Center awards.
